CICADA AUSTRALIA INC is a volunteer support group for cochlear implant recipients and we are hosting this event in conjunction with implant companies to bring awareness to ICI Day and World Hearing day.
The guest presentation will be live streamed so anyone can hook into the presentation or watch it later on the link.
World Hearing Day is on 3rd March 2020. The World Health Organization published an infographic in 2018 that shows how hearing loss in on the rise and by 2050 there could be 900 million people affected. You can get a copy of this 4-page document here.
