This a gentle reminder, if you received the wonderful CICADA BUZZ news recently you will see that we are finally able to hold our long-awaited "Illawarra CICADA Picnic in the Park” commencing this Sunday 14/2/2021
As it is Valentine's Day, there will be lots of Choccies and Hearts to give away.
DATE: Sunday 14 February 2021
TIME:10:30am-2:30pm - pop in any time
WHERE: Elliott Park, Little Lake, off Osborne Rd, Barrack Heights (northern side of Lake Illawarra)
BRING: your lunch, hat, sunscreen, swimmers (if you dare), a chair (there is some seating) and a big smile

I will love to see you all again, even if it is only for a quick cuppa.
At all picnics, there will be a yummy morning tea served (cakes and biscuits), tea & coffee for a small $2 donation. Some beautiful sweets will also be provided by Illawarra Quota Club.
The picnic areas chosen are linked to cycle tracks, have amenities and some have nearby BBQ, showers, and kiddies playgrounds.
You will notice: I have added some new locations for 2021, both on the northern and southern regions of our beautiful Lake Illawarra.
To remain Covid Safe, have made all this years events, a “Picnic in the Park” where you bring your own lunch and drinks.

NOTE: April was advertised 18 April but will be changed to 11 April as I forgot I am getting married on 17/4/2021 (!!!) or at least it will be Part 2 of my "Covid Wedding" which only 5 family members were able to attended.
11 April: Towradgi Beach Park next to Towradgi Bowling Club,
6 June: Shellharbour Village Greens, BBQ Hut opposite Beverley Whitley Ocean Pool
8 August: Windang Foreshaw Park, in the BBQ Hut off Fern St Windang
10 October Towradgi Beach Park next to Towradgi Bowling Club,Towradgi Beach
28 November: Early Christmas get together: Elliott Park, Little Lake, off Osborne Rd, Barrack Heights (northern side of Lake Illawarra)
If there is enough interest I may add some extra mini-events throughout the year where you can practice some more "hearing practice” with us lovely CI members and friends.
